Google Search Console, Bing and GA4 in Raycast

Raycast AI (a Pro feature) can use remote MCP servers over HTTP, including Streamable HTTP, with custom HTTP headers. Add GSC Magic once and mention it in AI Chat or Quick AI to ask about your search data.

In short

Create an access token in the GSC Magic dashboard, run Install MCP Server in Raycast, choose the HTTP transport with the URL https://mcp.gscmagic.com/mcp and an Authorization: Bearer header, and Raycast AI can answer questions from your Search Console, Bing and GA4 data.

Set up in 4 steps

  1. Create a GSC Magic account, connect Google, then create an access token under Connect → Access tokens.
  2. In Raycast run the Install MCP Server command. Name it GSC Magic, set Transport to HTTP and URL to https://mcp.gscmagic.com/mcp.
  3. Under HTTP Headers add Authorization with the value Bearer gsm_… (your token), then press Install MCP Server.
  4. In AI Chat or Quick AI type @ to mention GSC Magic and ask for your Search Console properties.

Good to know

  • MCP in Raycast is a Pro feature. On iOS every server uses the HTTP transport, so the same settings work there.
  • On Free your agent can only read. On Pro and Agency write tools are available, and the owner can switch write mode off in Settings in one click.

  • "List my Search Console properties and the one with the most clicks last 28 days."
  • "Which queries sit in positions 4–10 with the most impressions? Suggest title changes."
  • "Compare clicks this month with last month by page and tell me what moved."
  • "Which URLs in my sitemap are not indexed, and what does the inspection say?"

Troubleshooting

Raycast asks me to sign in.

Raycast offers OAuth for HTTP servers, but GSC Magic does not accept Raycast's sign-in return yet. Make sure the Authorization header is set; with a valid token no sign-in is needed.

The server shows an Error state in Manage MCP Servers.

Open the details pane for the message. A 401 means the token is wrong, expired or revoked; edit the server and replace the header value.

Can I add instructions for how Raycast uses the tools?

Yes. The Custom Instructions field on the server, for example "start with report_quick_wins and name the property", helps the model pick the right tool.
