Google Search Console, Bing and GA4 in Warp

Warp's local agents support MCP servers over Streamable HTTP with custom headers. Paste one JSON entry and the agent can check search performance and index status from the terminal.

In short

Create an access token in the GSC Magic dashboard, add a URL server for https://mcp.gscmagic.com/mcp with an Authorization: Bearer header under Settings > Agents > MCP servers in Warp, start it, and Warp's agent can query your Search Console, Bing and GA4 data.

Set up in 3 steps

  1. Create a GSC Magic account, connect Google, then create an access token under Connect → Access tokens.
  2. In Warp open Settings > Agents > MCP servers (or search Open MCP Servers in the Command Palette), click + Add and paste the snippet with your token. You can also save it in ~/.warp/.mcp.json.
  3. Start gsc-magic if it is stopped, check its tool list, then ask the agent for your Search Console properties.
MCP server JSON
{
  "mcpServers": {
    "gsc-magic": {
      "url": "https://mcp.gscmagic.com/mcp",
      "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer gsm_YOUR_TOKEN" }
    }
  }
}

Good to know

  • When you share a server with your Warp team, Warp scrubs env values; its documentation does not say the same for headers, so do not share an entry that contains your token. Each teammate should create their own.
  • On Free your agent can only read. On Pro and Agency write tools are available, and the owner can switch write mode off in Settings in one click.

What to ask once connected

  • "List my Search Console properties and the one with the most clicks last 28 days."
  • "Which queries sit in positions 4–10 with the most impressions? Suggest title changes."
  • "Compare clicks this month with last month by page and tell me what moved."
  • "Which URLs in my sitemap are not indexed, and what does the inspection say?"
  • "How many sessions came from ChatGPT, Perplexity and Claude last month, and to which pages?"

Troubleshooting

Warp opens a browser sign-in instead of starting the server.

Warp starts OAuth when a server has no credentials. Add the Authorization header with your gsm_ token; GSC Magic does not accept Warp's sign-in return yet.

The server fails to start.

Click View Logs on the MCP servers page. A 401 means the token is wrong or expired; replace the whole Bearer value.

Questions about Warp

Does Warp pick up my Claude Code config?

Warp can read MCP servers from ~/.claude.json and other agents' files once you enable auto-spawn for third-party agents, so an existing Claude Code entry with a token header can be reused.
